The Beards
The Beards is a crazy, drunk country blues band with dirty and heavy sound. "Mephisto Potato Sauce" is their debut album, and "Digging Fingers", their tribute to Johnny Cash, will be published in the USA this year by "Ancient Records". The Beards toured the USA in November 2006, travelling through 11 states and playing in great stages like Smith ol' Bar in Atlanta, Legends Corner, Tootsie and The Stage in Nashville, Poorhouse in Charleston and more.
The Beards will be newly playing in the US to promote their new album probably in autumn 2009. According to the audience, The Beards thundering show can be based only on Johnny Cash music or can borrow good stuff from a lot of other artists among them: Howling Wolf, Bob Dylan, The Band and even AC/DC! Anyway, everything is signed by The Beards unmistakable groove, truly a trademark.
